Cookie & Storage Policy

Last Updated: October 5, 2026 • Effective Version 2026-10-05

1. Essential Storage Only

Meridian Mentors prioritizes participant privacy. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking beacons, or commercial analytics scripts. Any browser storage utilized by our platform is strictly necessary to deliver the core service you request.

2. What We Store and Why

MechanismKey / IdentifierPurposeDuration
localStoragesb-*-auth-tokenMaintains authenticated user session and Supabase JWT tokens.Persistent until sign-out or token expiry
sessionStoragemeridian_invitation_tokenPreserves registration invitation codes during email confirmation.Session-only (cleared on browser tab close)
localStoragetc_theme / ui_stateRemembers user interface preferences and active program workspace selections.Persistent until cleared

3. Legal Exemption from Cookie Banners

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC as amended) and UK PECR regulations, storage mechanisms that are strictly necessary for the operation of a service explicitly requested by the user do not require prior consent banner interception. Because Meridian Mentors uses solely essential authentication and state storage with zero marketing or third-party tracking, we do not display an intrusive cookie banner.

4. Managing Browser Storage

You can clear or block storage keys at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing your localStorage will sign you out of active sessions and require re-authentication.

5. Questions

If you have questions about our storage architecture or data security, please review our Privacy Policy or contact [email protected].
